A street kid tries to survive in a technology and body modification-obsessed city of the future; with everything to lose, he chooses to stay alive by becoming an edgerunner: a mercenary outlaw, also known as a cyberpunk.

Cyberpunk: Edgerunner is a very colorful, edgy Anime where it makes you think and doubt yourself on your goals and life itself. Why? Because it touches basis about life in so many ways that you can compare this series to your personal life.

This anime goes deep within how society works and how if you don’t have an education or are part of an important family you just stay in the bottom of the food chain. Where unless you have a main job and a side job you can’t make amends to paying rent or medical insurance.

That is why i can say that this Anime went far and beyond to just give and a very action packed show. This goes deep in your roots and how you look at things now.

The characters in Cyberpunk: Edgerunners all of them have a meaning in the plot and to its endgame of the series. I say this because if they don’t announce a second season it’s fine because everything comes down well to the end.

Having so many characters that can atone to everyone in a personal way. I say that is amazing touch and it always doesn’t work but here it does due to that you have a character that has a goal or a dream another that is greed and lust plus another that wants to make a dent in their life.

Having such a crisp character development where you can simply enjoy and occasionally cry. But the mixture of this script and the cast was a golden nugget. This series even if it has great animation I would say it can go toe to toe with Arcane on how good this Anime series is.

The Story very Open to keep moving forward to make a sequel or just leave it where it ended. Why? Because every character has a purpose and they have their cathartic moment in the series.

Plus so many memorable moments from early in the episode where there is a touching moment in the Moon to a moment of craze where they are hallucinating their past. So many scenes that you can say wow!

Following David Martinez is the cherry on top of the series. Why? You not only get a somewhat of a Anti-Hero story but as well how he evolves from a boy to a man. Where not only he had it all he loses all as well by his decisions but with a satisfying…..

The animations of this series are breath taking and amazing. My comparison would be with series like Dota: Dragon’s Blood and Godzilla Singular point. Where they combine classic animation and CGi.

Being a Cyberpunk theme series the way they combined the colors from very bright to dark and have them mend together scene by scene is just amazing and crisp. Being able to have so much motion with the bright colors and not be eaten by them.

Everything flows like the film Into the spider-verse where there is a lot going on but you can still enjoy it and have fun with the animations is smooth and crisp plus beautiful.

I would say that this Anime should be watched countless of times due to the details this series has specially the nodes that makes to it’s Video Game Cyberpunk: 2077.

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is an Anime that should be in every anime fans list of favorites as well this could be a #1 contender. From Action Packed to a compelling story and much more that this series brings.
