Irma Vep Ep 1-4 [Series Review]

Mira is an American movie star disillusioned by her career and recent breakup, who comes to France to star as Irma Vep in a remake of the French silent film classic, “Les Vampires.”

Irma Vep and interesting look at the movie industry and a criticism on big budget franchises are as well affecting the industry. As well we see how working with a cast and crew works while making Irma Vep.

This series that feels like a documentary but you are focused and driven more in the characters and as well with the conversations in hand throughout the episodes.

The cinematography is amazing and gorgeous while throughout the series you will go in and out from the original Vampire series from director Louis Feuillade. Plus how in the series you see them remaking it scene by scene.

The arguments that are implanted in the series from the characters talking about the industry and how things have changed and as well you see how a production crew works and the many struggles a director might have while filming.

As well the cast in this series do an amazing job to bring these characters to life and as well there other characters. Alicia Vikander is an amazing actress and she brings a lot to the table specially the chemistry with the whole cast.

These four episodes have a lot to bring and a very interesting conversation to the table in regards the topics in hand. It’s a must watch series if you are driven to this and if you wanna see a great drama series.
