The story of psychologist William Moulton Marston and his polyamorous relationship with his wife and his mistress would inspire his creation of the super-heroine, Wonder Woman.
Professor Marston And The Wonder Woman is a film that gives you the story of how the heroine Wonder Woman came to be and how she was created in the 40s. Next to show was the love life of Professor Marston. In itself, the details of his story are spectacular and attract attention from the beginning to the end.
The origin of Wonder Woman is not what one expects since many of the comic fans were not in the ’40s. But here we do see how the idea of it came about and more how it was created Professor Marston with a doctorate in Psychology and his wives end up being historical figures.
It is a film that touches you most of the points of how those times were with the women’s rights movements and also how people saw people who do not fit in with what society is like. This filming not only has the origin of Wonder Woman, but it is also a small lesson in how in those times if you were a creator of Comics or someone who wants to make a change in society how they treated you.
If the cast of this film was spectacular we have Luke Evans as Professor Marston, Rebecca Hall as Elizabeth Marston and Bella Heathcote as Olivia Bryne all did a spectacular job on the film personally I thought that what I was seeing is a documentary of their lives, not a movie and that says a lot.
If the filming is a high recommendation if one wants to know more about how Wonder Woman originated and how the lie detector was created if I think they would have added a little more about how he worked with the owner of DC Comics and how It was the mess of the loss of his creation of detecting lies. But the filming itself was a Masterpiece.
